Save the Date: Pre-Meeting Policy Briefing to get you up to speed
Whether you plan to participate in the upcoming Nairobi meeting
remotely or in
person, you're invited to a quick reminder of the background and
current status
of each major policy issue currently under discussion in ICANN. The
Policy
Staff will provide a briefing on Thursday, 25 February, summarizing
policy
issues across the different ICANN Supporting Organizations. Attendees
of the
previous Policy Update session, held just before Seoul, reported that
the
session helped them crystallize their thinking on important issues
and made
them feel more fully informed as they participated in the international
meetings.
The Policy Staff will provide the upcoming briefing online at two
times, to
accommodate various timezones. Plan to join us for either of these
duplicate
sessions:
13.00 UTC (2200pm Seoul, 0000 Sydney, 0500am Marina del Rey, 0800
Washington,
D.C.)
or
19.00 UTC (0400 Seoul, 0600 Sydney, 1100 Marina del Rey, 1400
Washington, D.C.
Full details will be sent later, including how to register in order
to receive
the Adobe Connect link and dial-in numbers. But for now, save the date!
