This is an interesting characterization, pretty firm in picturing the
achievement of a specific goal (though, a goal that is not expressed
structurally in this case).
Do you think there is a map in place somewhere already that can establish a
genuinely workable and accountable "international multistakeholder
governance regime"? Or do you have one yourself?
What exactly are the necessary changes, in your view, that would suffice to
create such a system? Are there any existing precedents that you would
point to as models for your vision here? The UN? Other treaty venues? Do
you have any specific criteria or measures for determining success or
failure?
I honestly don't yet see how this would really work, myself, so I'm
genuinely curious about what you see here. If it's just a tweak on the
current (or even proposed) ICANN structure, I have to admit I'm rather
dubious, but I'm willing to be convinced by ideas I may not have envisioned
myself.
Best,
Dan
