Cheryl, Hi.

I was only referring to the NomCom position. 
NCUC appoints one person to the ICANN NomCom. 
They can serve up to two terms.  It's an easier 
job the second year round, and it helps the 
NomCom to have experienced people.

I can't comment on other positions being elected.

The NomCom person needs to be selected soon, much 
sooner than the election schedule for 
constituency officers.  The NomCom delegate is 
not a voting position within the constituency, in 
fact once selected they act as an individual in 
the NomCom and not a representative (same for all 
delegates). I'd recommend making a selection, 
then getting on with the rest of the elections

BTW -- I was associate chair of the 2007 NomCom, 
I will have nothing to do with the 2008 NomCom, 
so this is just advice not vested interest!
