It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Ababacar Seck as candidate for
Africa to the Executive Committee.
Ababacar is a co-founder and Honorary Director of Ynternet.Org
Senegal, a youth ICT NGO created in january 1999. Ynternet.Org's
objectives include:
- helping the youth with easy access to the Internet (Internet Kiosks
for youth associations, IT rooms in schools...),
- training youth leaders for a sound use of Internet resources,
- editing free IT leaflets for the youth...
Ababacar SECK has a long experience in community involvement and the
not-profit sector as a youth leader and trainer on different topics
(Internet, Youth development, Community development, etc.)
Ababacar is a financier by profession and was a Humphrey Fellow at
the Boston University for 2005-2006. He lives in Dakar, Senegal.
Thanks,
Mawaki
