Fwd: Membership Application for NCUC

The Multilingual Internet Names Consortium meets the
criteria established by the NCUC Charter for
organizational admission.  ISOC-NY supports this
application.

We take note of the long history of MINC's
participation in efforts to coordinate research and
development on multilingual names and believe that
they could well represent the constituency in the
GNSO's Working Group on IDN issues.

We note that MINC's Chairman and CEO Khaled Fattal
currently serves on the ICANN President's Advisory
Committee for Internationalised Domain Names, and
MINC's expertise in coordinative activities should
readily serve to invigorate our constituency.  We look
forward to seeing their membership application
approved.
