deeply sorry to hear this development. indeed, thursday morning, i
visited the comment web page, and saw the detailed comments from
warner bros. and all those companies and thought: oh my god, where
are ours? then it occured to me, realizing that the deadline just
expired, that i could have drafted a statement as an individual, or
on behalf of the african civil society for the information society,
acsis, which is still being structured and is not a formal ncuc
member. i guess this is a learning process, at least to some of us,
but you're right that it is disappointing most of the ncuc
traditional allies were nowhere to be heard of. for how long are we
going to sustain that way? thank you anyway for your effort and time.
