Hi,

I think we should thank YJ for this offer. 
Without her foresight the ncuc.org name would 
most likely now be home to some porn site!

YJ's contributed a great a deal to NCUC over the 
years, she was one of the founding members and a 
multiple term name council member.  I don't think 
YJ is a member anymore and may not even be on 
this list. Transfer of the name from ncdnhc to 
ncuc would be a good opportunity to thank her... 
and to ask her for the name!

Practical point -- YJ's held the name on our 
behalf for a couple of years, we should make sure 
she is not out of pocket, or at least offering to 
cover her costs.

How about our our executive committee or names 
council reps send a note to YJ on behalf of the 
NCUC?  See draft below, suggesting Robin send it, 
perhaps with Marc?

for your contributions to the group and to 
request a transfer of NCUC.org. We owe you a 
great deal for your early work in the 
constituency, for your support, and terms of 
service on the names council. Thank you.

The constituency has heard that your hold the 
NCUC.ORG domain name, and we're grateful you had 
the foresight to reserve as soon as the new 
constituency name was suggested during the ICANN 
review some years ago.  The constituency recently 
agreed that we would like to use the new name, 
transferring the constituency website and 
identity from NCDNHC to NCUC.ORG.  We hope you 
will be agreeable to transfer the name to the 
ICANN GNSO staff so that we can use the NCUC 
name. You have spent money to maintain the name 
and we would be very happy to repay any expenses.

Please let me know if you are willing to transfer 
the NCUC.ORG name and let me know if there's 
anything I can do to facilitate the process.
