Details regarding the future plans of an United Nations Working Group on Internet Governance are slowly beginning to emerge. According to a presentation given at a recent International Telecommunications Union conference, the WGIG's secretariat will "start functioning as a small core group" by June 2004, and will be "fully operational" by the following October. A final report is expected to be published by July 2005.
