It's late and Iliya has not replied to accept or decline his nomination.

I would like to nominate myself for election to the EC from the EU
region.  I live and work in Japan, but am a citizen of the UK.

To be honest, this is a bit of a fudge, but without 4 members the EC
does not work according to the rules of our charter. It cannot take
decisions.

I don't believe there is a rule against self-nominations.
I don't believe we require nominations to be seconded.
We have no rules about residence, etc.

I hope this will be OK.

I will resign as soon as there is an opportunity for an election and
we can compete the EC with it's full quota of appropriate regional
representatives.

I would enjoy the chance to serve the constituency.
