[ncdnhc-discuss] Election: Reminder to vote

As a candidate for the elections, which close soon (tomorrow Friday
February 22, 8 PM Central European Time, which is 2 PM, Eastern Standard
Time), I take the liberty to send this reminder, as much is at stake at
the moment.

There is a lot of rumor these days about ICANN's plans to restructure
itself (see www.icannwatch.org). Will there be a voice for other than
commercial interests in the near future? Will at large be made
meaningless?

The weight of our non-commercial voice within the Names Council, and
ICANN, will certainly benefit from a large number of voters actually
participating in the ballot. Especially since not all members can vote,
due, in part at least, to ICANN's staff mishandling of the invoices.

So, please, whoever you vote for, do vote!

The ncdnhc.org website is down, it seems, for a week or so now. Election
