I certainly say that CIANN is doing a perfect job for the mission they
received. Their job is not that simple due to the general situation of the
industry but roughly they obtained full US dominance on the world packet
swicth and URL systems, making it now to last in being self funded (ISOC
getting .org).
They still have to clean the aftermath of their operation: to get rid of
the @large remnants, of the independant Registrars, of the pseudo
constituencies (BC, NCC) and eventually to bore out GAC members.
Certainly a well done job. Very neat. And quickly completed. Very
professionnal. In full respect with Congress 1996 orders (USC). I suggest
all the concerned people to be promoted.
