The ACLU National office in New York is still severely affected and
Chris Chiu asked me to post this to the list:

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers is inviting
comments on whether it
should go forward with its planned November 2001 meetings in Los
Angeles. This solicitation is in part due to enquiries from possible
attendees after the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington D.C.
that took place on September 11, 2001. A final decision on the L.A.
meetings is expected by Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001.
