Don't you think this has already been worked out by the ICANN insiders?
It is hard to imagine that $5 million will be diverted outside their club.
That can pay for some nice travels to all of the far-away locations where
ICANN is headed next year. Just as with .EDU, one has to assume that
all of this has been worked out. Why delay the process ? .ORG is just one
of thousands of TLDs, now available. It is nice it is in Galaxy 0. That makes
it easy to add the "BE" prefix in the Identification Field of the packets.

It will be interesting to see the process disclose who has been selected to
operate .ORG.
