Dear colleagues,



The IGF Dynamic Coalition Internet Standards, Security and Safety (IS3C)'s
working group on Education & skills is in need of assistance and expertise,
as its research phase is about to start. This is the reason I reach out to
you for assistance.



The attachment to this email explains the bigger picture. In short, this
project will provide recommendations and guidelines on closing the
knowledge gap between what tertiary educational institutions offer and what
industry and society as a whole demand where knowledge of cyber security,
Internet standards, governance and architecture is concerned. And, to
establish and learn from current good practices. IS3C needs your
contribution to establish what the gap in your country is, so we can assist
in closing it.



We ask for your assistance, expertise and input to gain access to
information from your respective regions and countries, to process it into
our upcoming report at the IGF 2022. What are we in search of?

   1. Volunteers to assist in our work by conducting and reporting on two
   interviews with a representative of an ICT company or organisation and/or a
   governmental cyber security agency/CERT.
   2. Those in the know on the educational skill gap or with your
   colleagues who are, to volunteer to be interviewed.

WG2 chair Janice Richardson provides two instruction sessions for those
interested to conduct an interview. Let me know of your interest in either
option 1 and/or 2. You can join the instruction sessions here:
