Hi volunteers and all,

Without necessarily having to wait for community election processes to
close because we are running out of time, first is to thank all volunteers
for their contribution on the NCUC/NCSG Africa Strategy Document

I am glad to inform you that the document is now taking shape but we still
needing headings for different sections and put forward our recommendations.

*Just some urgent issues/tasks needing broad participation before ICANN65:*

1. I just wanted to kindly remind everyone that we only have around 2 weeks
before ICANN65 and the NCUC/NCSG Africa strategy

document now only needs recommendations, unless there are additional inputs.
2. We also need to hold a webinar with regional mailing list members
atleast 1 week before ICANN65 so that we before, will ask Ines to help with
setting up a Doodle once we have completed and closed the draft regional
strategy document. Some of the issues to be dealt with during the said
webinar include
    a. Resolving a few contention areas
    b. Adoption of our regional strategy document and
    c. Next steps

3. We need a member or 2 who will be attending ICANN65 to help present our
strategy in brief during the planned ICANN65 Africa Strategy meeting and
provide feedback thereafter.

*Note:*
Any member who still wishes to still contribute to help *contribute* to
this strategy document or wants to help to *review and clean* the document,
please come forward because we still do not have a dedicated penholder for
our online regional activities because we need to complete and adopt the
document by Friday, 19 June latest, thanks.
