<p>Following the close of the nomination period, a total of<b> seven (7) applications</b> were received for the NCUC representative position on the ICANN Nominating Committee (NomCom). (Amina Ramallan, Emmanuel Vitus, Hago Dafalla, John Gbadamosi, Lia P Hernandez Perez, Muhammad Shabbir Awan, Stephanie Perrin<b>)</b></p><p>After a careful review of all candidate submissions and expressions of interest, the NCUC Executive Committee (EC) concluded the evaluation process. Through a majority vote, the EC has selected <strong>Stephanie Perrin</strong> to serve as the next NCUC NomCom representative for the upcoming two-year term.</p>
<p>I sincerely thank <strong>all equally strong and qualified applicants</strong> for their willingness to serve and contribute to the NCUC. I also appreciate the EC members for their active participation in the selection process.</p>
