Our handover was exactly after the Abu Dhabi meeting, and we had idk one<br>
month transition ? Also, did we solve the overlap with the NCSG elections<br>
that Farzi warned us about ?<br>

Els, I think Renata was maybe alerting us for the case that there's no<br>
candidate for one of the EC vacancies, in case one of us decides not to run<br>
for re-election. Was it ?<br>

Last year, election results were out one or two days after the meeting. The<br>
year before, the results were maybe one or two weeks after the meeting was<br>
over so I would agree with my colleagues that there s an issue with the<br>
timeline.<br>
<br>
First, at the beginning of the process there s an overlap with the NCSG<br>
elections dates.<br>
<br>
Second, I agree that there should be a proper hand-over to the next<br>
leadership team and I can't see that possible if current team is planning<br>
for the meeting, travelling and then attending while supposedly<br>
handing-over.<br>
<br>
My suggestion is that check-in starts around one month before the meeting<br>
(26 September-3 October) and results are out around (28 October-3<br>
November). In my suggested dates I am also taking into consideration staff<br>
who should have enough time to breathe from an election to a second and<br>
then to do their duties at-ease at the meeting.<br>
