We specifically discussed the term "chapter" in our constituency and concluded that it should remain as is and there is no better replacement for it. We could do a foot note that we specifically mean ISOC chapters.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">3. I don't think it's necessary to say mention that NCSG has two constitutency and provide a link to NCSG website because: 1. NCSG wiki link might change we can't update the bylaws. 2. NCSG has two constituencies at the moment it might have more constituencies in the future. We don't see the need to make that change and we have mentioned that NCUC is a constituency of NCSG. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">4. EC and appointed member comment: I think they are referring to the paragraph that stipulates that if an EC member resigns or is removed less than 6 months to the election then EC can appoint a replacement until the election. I disagree with BC that we need to change this provision. When the duration is shorter than 6 months it serves the region better to have an EC member. Our members have voted on this and we keep it. We also suggest that to bring more democratic values to their processes, BC considers term limits with no exceptions. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">5. As to this: "<span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif">There are also certain important resources available to the NCUC that we recommend referencing in the charter. For instance, it may be helpful to note that the NCUC has an independent part-time Secretariat that assists on matters of voting and elections, and the ICANN Ombudsman is a available to provide input on challenging decisions.</span>"<span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"> </span></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">While we have not mentioned the Secretariat (which has changed to full time and it doesn't solely cover our work and it's for NCSG as a whole) we have enumerated multiple resources available to NCUC in our operating procedures doc.
