<div>Dear Rafik,</div>
<div> </div>
<div> </div>
<div>It was announced today that the CCWG Accountability will be holding a special meeting to kickstart work stream 2 in Helsinki on Sunday June 26th. My hope and expectation is that I will be taking a leadership role in a few of these subgroups, notably those related to transparency and to the ombudsman.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>As in Morocco ICANN will not be providing financial assistance to participants to attend the meeting. I once again ask for consideration for NCUC funding for a budget hotel at a rate not to exceed US$100. I note ICANN venue hotels are retailing for 2.5 times that amount. I find that to be ridiculous.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The transition continues. Many of the issues most important to the NCUC are still under debate. I thank the EC for past support and thank you for your consideration of this request.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Kind Regards.</div>
