Among the changes you’ll note, I’ve shifted a couple of the sessions to reflect the discussion today and added slots for the co-chair roles. Please follow up with additional volunteer names for the open co-chair slots and suggest any assignment changes you would like to make. Please also remember to share with me specific staff speakers or topics you are thinking of adding to your break-out meeting agendas so I can reach out to the appropriate staff for invites. </div><div><br></div><div>I plan to produce a version 6.1 next week (approx late Tuesday/early Wednesday) to reflect additional co-chair volunteer information (or the random assignments I mentioned during the call) as well as any substantive program input received on the list AND to reflect feedback I get from the ICANN Senior team regarding scheduling matters related to the Board Workshop in Singapore - as that is likely to have some impact on the meeting schedule. </div><div><br></div><div>In reviewing the call chat transcript this evening, I noted comments from Marilyn and Cheryl asking for feedback regarding the “goals” from the 2015 meeting in DC. My apologies for missing those requests in the chat during the call. Beyond the general hope and expectation that the Intersessional meeting would help improve collaboration and working relationships within the NCPH, the idea of specific goals for the meeting really only matured as we began discussing the program for the 2016 meeting and the desire to set specific expectations. The major deliverable that came out of the 2015 meeting was the communiqué document to the ICANN Board, but if I recall correctly, that seemed to spring more organically out of the meeting conversations. Perhaps you’d all like to focus on another communiqué (topic TBD) for this meeting?</div><div><br></div><div>As several of you have observed, it can be challenging to develop specific consensus goals and I’ve tried to capture the feedback about further improving cross-SG understanding of various issues in the planning document. I am happy to expand those conversations on our next call if any of you have more specific input or suggestions you’d like to make on the goal setting topic. In the meantime, I’ve tried to make suggestions for individual session goals rather than complete two-day meeting goals, but ultimately I think you want those answers to come from your consensus discussions as community leaders and planners rather than from ICANN staff.</div><div><br></div><div>Looking forward to continuing the dialogue with you on this email list and on the call next week!</div><div><br></div><div>Warm regards,</div><div><br></div><div>Rob</div><div><div>—</div><div><div style="font-family:Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:12px"><b>Robert Hoggarth </b>| Senior Director Policy and Community Engagement</div><div style="font-family:Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:12px"><a href="mailto:robert.hoggarth@icann.org" target="_blank">robert.hoggarth@icann.org</a></div><div style="font-family:Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:12px"><br></div><div style="font-family:Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:12px"><b>ICANN</b> | Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers</div><div style="font-family:Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:12px">801 17th Street NW, Suite 400 | Washington, DC 20006</div></div><div> </div><div><br></div></div></div>
