The idea was well received by several members including the chair, Klaus Stoll. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The idea for ICANN would be to invite local NGOs that are active in the region (and beyond) to come and find out about DNS-related issues such as the roll-out of the new gTLD programme. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">For the Public Interest Registry such an event could be a good opportunity to discuss the .NGO / .ONG TLD. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Klaus Stoll has put out a request for possible speakers at such an event.
