I design and facilitate training programs on Internet Governance for the Middle East audience and ICANN's role in the IG ecosystem is the focus of one of the modules. Engaging stakeholders in a discussion about topics related to the IANA transition or the new gTLD program requires deep knowledge about the policy process and good understanding of ICANN's work. Hence is my interest in this opportunity which will allow me to sharpen my skills on key information about ICANN to be in a better position to speak of its work. To date, IGMENA program have engaged more than 250 civil society representatives from the Middle East in the regional and the global debate and on Internet Governance and the plan is to inject them in various IG processes, including ICANN, according to their affiliation and expertise. </div><div class=""><br data-mce-bogus="1" class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br data-mce-bogus="1" class=""></div><div class="">My Short Bio : </div><div class=""><br data-mce-bogus="1" class=""></div><div class="">Hanane Boujemi is Senior Manager of Hivos’ MENA region programme on Internet Governance.
