<div>On the issue of statements, I don't think it would be right to bend the rules. If a statement is a requirement, those interested are aware of it. And if they are not ready to do a simple statement, then it raises doubt on their level of commitment if they
cant fulfil requirement at this early stage. I am therefore opposed to bending the rules for them. </div>
