Personally, I think we are more likely to find new members at the sorts of meetings we’ve discussed already than among numbers folks. That said, if someone wants to attend an RIR meeting and there’s no better option for slot usage in the given region, sure.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">To recap: to date, a) I’ve said I want to apply for support to attend EuroDIG, b) Stefi has said the same*, and c) Rafik would like to apply to do Rightscon. So that’s three very viable options for outreach (we need to redistribute the brochures a bit, I have them all). Two other slots have no expressions of interest yet. Again, bear in mind that the travel must be in region, and Rob has clarified that the five slots can be allocated to taste, not just one per region (e.g. Stefi and I can both request support for within Europe).</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Rafik has reminded us of the deadline, 15 November. Apparently there are about 11 of them a year in the different regions and our more "techy" minded members in those regions could participate there.
