Say for example I request to be supported to come to LA. 1000 or 2000 USDs would only get me a ticket, visa and very little in terms of accommodation. I would need to ask a different funder to top up the rest. That would probably take another three months to get the rest of the support. Whats my point? That the amounts may be possible only if someone is being funded to travel within the Continent.
