She’s very cool and very high energy, her media activism stuff with deep dish has been a central force for decades among progressive video folks etc. Only question I guess is since she'll come either way, is there someone doing work, or who will the little nudge of a F2f opportunity, who could begin to do work and might benefit more. If so we could do reimbursements of up to $2k each as previously proposed for DD and AE. I don’t have a particular jewel in the rough in mind, just asking as due diligence. If no ok I send DD a follow up in a couple day saying ok expenses up to $3 as originally requested.<div><br></div><div>Traveling today,</div><div><br></div><div>BD<br>

Will notify accordingly. However, one point first: As it turns out, Rafik had an inspired idea—since Amr cannot come to London, he’s reallocated that NCSG travel slot to Anriette. So she will get the full ICANN covered traveler treatment, and we don’t have to pay for her flight from NCUC’s account. This raises the question of whether we would like to increase our offer to Dee Dee to cover more than her plane ticket. She’d originally asked for $3k to include hotel meals etc. Or, I suppose, we could see if there’s another member for whom airfare would make the difference between coming and not coming. Suggestions?</div><div><br></div><div>While we cogitate, I’ll shoot DD a note and say we will cover the airfare and are discussing whether we can do more, TBC.</div><div><br></div><div>Grace, I’m sorry to hear about your visa issue.
