We currently have a deferred request for $2,000 for printed materials from the Fast Track process. We also appear to be asking for staff assistance during the last quarter of this year on this matter.

I know Bill has been actively communicating with ICANN staff regarding this request. The $2,000 was initially a request for one quarter of the year. Is that the amount we wish to stick with for all of FY14?

Yes. My spare time since Beijing has been rather nonexistent, in large
part due to organizing Finnish Internet Forum yesterday - even more
last-minute rearrangements than usual, including all panelists but one
canceling two days before the event... it should get easier now.
But, having a brochure to distribute would indeed have been very useful.
That is a real concern, especially in an organization like NCUC where
finding motivated people is probably harder than in political campaigns.
Same applies to Carlos' earlier suggestion of paying for computer
support, although perhaps not so much, as the task would be technical
and of limited, well-defined scope (especially for guaranteed-response-time
support volunteers tend to be hard to find).
Anyway, I'll try to get the website move rolling again soon.
