[NCUC-EC] ICANN77 Event collaboration with PIR

Hello Julf:

 

At a recent NCUC EC meeting, Benjamin reported that there have been
discussions with PIR about the possibility of an event in June at ICANN77
and that we NCEC) should prepare a proposal for their consideration. I have
done so with the input from the EC members and have attached it here. As the
NA representative from NCUC I am happy to take the lead on this. In summary
we are proposing two events - an internal non-commercial strategy session,
which frankly does not require much in the way of support from PIR, but also
an evening event which the NC community can use as a showcase for the EC
issues, which we would request PIR to sponsor. On our side we would put
together the programme, including lining up speakers, and I would l look to
PIR to take care of the logistics, such as space reservations, catering,
a/v, etc.).

 

Basically, I would like to know what we can do to move this forward.
