[NCUC-EC] Partial absence during ICANN 70

Thanks Raphael. As I am in the same time zone as the meetings I’ll try to follow sessions that the others cannot. My non-ICANN schedule is a bit full but I’ll do my best to fill in any gaps.

Hi all

thanks for stepping up!

-No need to go into details, as there are indeed recordings

-Updating the list ASAP after the end of the meeting would be the best, I think

And also re today, we'll be doing a short round of presentation at the beginning of the meeting. Please keep it to a min max. Then I'll present the webinar, then regional updates, then we'll have the TIG discussion, and then AOB

Thanks!

Hi Raphael,

Wishing the soonest recovery to your family and hope everything will be fine! And safe flights to you!

As for the sessions, I can take the following three:

-Public forum

-Public Board meeting

-DNS Women's panel.

Does reporting to the list mean a short summary about the key points? Given that session recordings will be available, I believe we do not need to go into too many details. Also, when do we need to send an update to the list?

Best,

Olga

Hi Raphael,

My best wishes for speedy recovery of your family member.

Thanks for the update and heads up. I am available to cover the following and record brief updates in addition to the NCUC and NCSG routine meetings.

- Plenary Session: Registry Voluntary Commitments: Getting it Right on 25 March (the first one shows cancelled on the schedule).

- NCSG Board meeting

The other sessions are at a very odd hour of the night for me.

See you all at ICANN70.

Dear EC,

I will have to travel home in the next 10-14 days due to illness in my close family (not COVID related). Given what I must do here in Germany before leaving for Canada, I will have to cut down my attendance and participation during ICANN 70 to the minimum. I will still chair our Open Meeting as planned, and will also drop by during the NCSG Open to give updates on our constituency.

I will not attend anything else, however, and so would kindly ask you for a heightened level of involvement, especially in view of reporting on the meeting to our members. I was specially thinking about the following:

-The two plenaries

-Council meeting

-GAC meetings

-NCSG/Board meeting

-Public forum

-Public Board meeting

-DNS Women's panel

I would normally have led the reporting efforts on those but I will not be able to do so now.

If you could all kindly pick a topic/session or two, and report shortly on those to our members after the meeting, that would be great. Please reply in this thread for coordination purpose.

Thanks a lot and have a nice weekend,
