<p dir="auto">After careful consideration, I would like to humbly decline the nomination for this round. As I have had the privilege of engaging in an active election for ALAC, I believe it is important to allow space for others to serve and contribute in this role. Perhaps in the future I may consider running for this position, but at this time my thoughts are to allow others to lead.</p>
<p dir="auto">Importantly, I would also like to acknowledge the excellent work of our colleague and current EC Africa representative, Ines Hfaiedh. I believe she continues to represent the community well with dedication, professionalism, and a progressive approach.</p>
