<p class="gmail-">My name is <strong>Amin Hacha</strong>, and I am honored to present my candidacy statement for the <strong>NCUC Executive Committee (Europe)</strong>, <b>M</b><strong>ale , </strong>I am of <b>Lebanese origin</b> and currently a <b>resident of Italy.</b></p>
<p class="gmail-"><strong>Conflicts of Interest:</strong> None.</p>
<p class="gmail-">Holding a <strong>BS in Computer Science</strong> and a <strong>BA in Business Management</strong>, I further enriched my skill set with specialized studies in <strong>Fashion Programming Design</strong>, which I completed in Japan. I currently work as a <b>Fashion Programmer</b>.</p>
<p class="gmail-">I am willing to take on the tasks of the NCUC Executive Committee (Europe) because I believe in the critical role that the non-commercial community plays in <strong>defending digital rights</strong>, <strong>promoting the public interest</strong>, and <strong>shaping inclusive internet governance</strong>. I have already served in this role and fully understand the responsibilities it entails—from member engagement and policy contribution to regional coordination. I am committed to continuing this work with <strong>energy, transparency, and dedication</strong>, ensuring that members’ voices remain active, connected, and impactful within NCUC and the broader ICANN ecosystem. My background in <strong>cross-cultural collaboration and leadership</strong> equips me to contribute meaningfully and consistently to the EC’s work. During my current term, I have also been actively working on the <strong>development and creation of the NCUC Media and Communications Committee</strong>, aiming to improve our outreach, visibility, and engagement across platforms.  </p>
<p class="gmail-">I remain fully committed to dedicating the necessary time and attention to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. I have actively participated in meetings, discussions, and initiatives during my current term, and I will continue to prioritize this work. I manage my schedule to ensure consistent availability for EC tasks and community support.</p>
<p class="gmail-">I am especially passionate about <strong>empowering emerging voices</strong>, particularly youth and civil society actors. I believe that NCUC’s strength lies in its <strong>diversity and values</strong>, and I am committed to helping our community grow stronger, more inclusive, and more impactful—both within NCUC and across the NCSG. I also strongly support <strong>transparency, accountability, and collaboration</strong> within NCUC leadership and am always open to dialogue, feedback, and joint initiatives that benefit our members.</p>
