I actively participated in sessions across all three days, with a particular focus on promoting transparency and potential process improvements within NomCom—a theme I raised as a focus during my candidacy for the role.

To further this I’ve also taken on the role of Chair for the Recommendations Subcommittee, where transparency and process improvement will be a primary focus for me as we dive into reviewing the NomCom Operating Manual and Handbook over the coming year.

Workshop Highlights and Key Contributions:

Day 1:

We kicked things off with an overview of the NomCom Handbook and confidentiality policies. During this session, I raised the importance of transparency in NomCom operations, making sure this was noted as a priority moving forward.

The group then established subcommittees, and I agreed to Chair the Recommendations Subcommittee. I emphasized that our work would prioritize transparency as we review key documents like the Operating Manual and Handbook, aiming to make our practices clearer and more accessible.

Day 2:

The morning included a working session with subcommittee chairs and NomCom leadership. We also met with the GNSO Leadership (CPH Vice Chair) to discuss requirements for their candidates.
