<span lang="EN-US">reached</span> out to leadership of the ICANN Supporting Organizations (SOs) and Advisory Committees (ACs)
<span lang="EN-US">on 13 October 2023 </span>to plan for implementation of the Third Accountability and Transparency Review (ATRT3) Recommendation 3.6, to evolve Organizational Reviews into a Continuous Improvement Program (CIP)<span lang="EN-US">.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><u></u> <u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The GNSO Council will discuss this item today during their first afternoon session. I am reaching out to you today to inform you of the attached proposed Terms of Reference for a CIP Community Coordination Group and a
full letter from ICANN Review Support and Accountability team as they were shared with SO/AC Chairs recently.
</span>ICANN org proposes the formation of a <span lang="EN-US">CIP</span>-CCG to convene in December 2023, with the goal of developing a framework for implementation of ATRT3 Recommendation 3.6.<span lang="EN-US"><u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">We will be looking forward to having </span>
some representatives with familiarity with Organizational Reviews, but also representatives with knowledge of continuous improvement work outside of ICANN; those that can contribute new and innovative ideas for improving the effectiveness and the accountability
of the different ICANN structures. There is the importance of striking a balance between representatives with deep ICANN experience, and those that bring new perspectives.<u></u><u></u></p>
