   as the NCUC Rep. in the NomCom I want to give you an update where we are in the process. In a series of telcos we have trimmed down the list of candidates from about 100 (for the seven positions we have to fill) to 27 in total. We have for each of the positions now a "short list". The short list for the two board positions includes 13 names. We have also shortlists for the GNSO and CNSO Council, for ALAC NA & EU and the PTI Board. The next round is the so-called deep dive. We have now around 8 teams with two NomCom members who have a deeper look into the background of the short listed candidates. Each NomCom team will have to check three or four candidates. This includes web search, telephone interviews, consultations with references etc. The dateline is end of June. The hope is that, based on tzhe outcome and the discussion of the "deep dive" we can produce a "shortend short list" and move to the selection phase.

   So far, working in a virtual environment was okay. However we have to see how this will continue when we come to the final stage.
