<div dir="ltr">Hello Arsene, <div><br></div><div>I believe these are my answers to both your questions: </div><div><br></div><div><div><div>Q: You will be representing your regions on the EC. Do you really think civil society activists from your respective regions need to know about the NCUC and become members? If yes, please tell us why. </div><div><br></div><div>A: I believe that Civil Society Organizations should at least get to know the work of NCUC. Whether you're at ICANN or not, if your a Civil society advocate, fighting for a Free Internet is the Claim zero: free speech online, non-commercial users point of view of Internet Governance and a balanced relation between stakeholders are things we all advocate for. Having said that, part of our job is to continue with the outreaching activities, in order to let people know what we are and do - for newcomers and non-active members. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Q: What is your <b>strategy to have civil society organizations </b>(not individuals) from your regions <b>join the NCUC as members</b>? Can you name up to two organizations based in your region that you would love to see join NCUC? And why these?</div></div><div><br></div><div>A: Latin America has quite a united community of activists, so my plan would be to reach out to this community and talk to them about the subjects NCUC works with and find intercessions between the things they advocate for and the work we do. On the organizations note, I can think quite straight about Hiperderecho and Tedic (peru and Paraguay) two very interestingm LAC organizations working on the promotion of rights online. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Best, </div><div><br></div><div>Bruna </div>-- <br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">2017-10-20 8:15 GMT-02:00 Arsène Tungali <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:arsenebaguma@gmail.com" target="_blank">arsenebaguma@gmail.com</a>></span>:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">

believe as Chair, you have the ability to know what members needs and what they
