of NCUC without a lot of risk or burden. Indeed, I am surprised that there are people willing to run for NCUC chair without ever having served on the EC before. On EC you learn about the organizational responsibilities, scheduling, elections, ICANN staff liaisons
and so on. An EC position gives you exposure to all these things but poses little risk if you make some mistakes or get too busy to keep up. It is a good entry point. I don’t think you are unqualified, but I admire and respect your willingness to apply high
standards.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
