It was there I found my interest and desire to become a long time part of the community. Since then, I have joined the NCUC and the NCSG. I am hoping to volunteer with ICANN and eventually become an important voice and a hard worker in the community. I am passionate about privacy, openness, and freedom of expression on the internet. I would benefit greatly from being taken under the wing of an ICANN native, as the environment can be a little overwhelming for a newcomer at times. Despite the complexity that often comes with it, I am a champion of the multistakeholder model of governance that is being pioneered at ICANN and I would be very grateful for the opportunity to help shape it.
