As you can see from the Elections page below, we potentially have competitive elections for the AF position (2 candidates) and the AP position (3 candidates) but not for the chair, Europe, NA, or LAC. So again, I would strongly encourage anyone who is interested in getting more involved to consider standing for election. The next year should be an interesting and important one in NCUC’s development and in ICANN more generally, so it’s worth giving it a try if you have any inclination. </div><div apple-content-edited="true" class=""><br class=""></div><div apple-content-edited="true" class="">In addition, it is helpful to have competitive elections from the standpoint of legitimacy and buy-in, and as an incentive to electoral ‘turn-out’ when the time comes to vote.
