The community town-hall will be open to all those interested in this important maturation process. It will take place at the IGF Istanbul venue with remote participation (details to follow shortly in separate email to our community).<br><br>As our community leaders, your active participation in this town-hall meeting is important. The recent FAQs on the accountability process have addressed and clarified many questions and concerns that arose from the extensive public comments and community dialogues since March. Yet, we must collectively remain attentive and engage with the global community throughout the process and remain responsive to any questions. The town-hall in Istanbul is therefore intended for that purpose.<br><br>As we embark on this accountability journey, we must sustain a strong and direct community dialogue to ensure we are aligned. That is how we will be successful in strengthening ICANN's accountability in light of its changing historical relationship with the USG. Dialogue, however, should not mean further delays on this track that is highly intertwined with the IANA stewardship transition. Let's proceed on the substantive issues to assure the global community we will be ready for the IANA stewardship transition.<br><br>We count on your leadership and active engagement for a continuing civil and open dialogue.
