And I have made a pain in the keister of myself in multiple fora by trying to insist that a None of the Above (NOA) be a candidate in any election where there was just one choice - not that I have succeeded very often in that Quixotic quest. Now that is not the policy in NCUC as far as I know - so I am not arguing for that now, but may someday when the EC gets around to updating the NCUC out of date charter - but that is yet another bicker. since we dont have NOA, we need candidates. lots and lots of candidates.

And having said, and with no offense to any candidate we have, I think they are all great people - many of whom have contributed much to the NCUC over the years - we need more candidates. In fact i encourage nominees to nominate/second opponents. Nominate yourselves. Twist arms, get people to agree to run. The worst that can happen is that you get elected and have to do the work for a year.

So people, nominate someone.

avri

_______________________________________________
Ncuc-discuss mailing list
Ncuc-discuss@lists.ncuc.org
http://lists.ncuc.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/ncuc-discuss
