<div dir="ltr">As a participant in the event and documentarian of the speeches etc  I have had the luxury of speaking to a number of participants in the event<div><br></div><div>The overall impression was very positive on the knowledge and willingness to share by the faculty.  I am sure everyone is taking back with them some serious concepts for their local internet governance policies. </div>

Hi - before we gallop into ICANN meetings, I just wanted to say thank<br>
you to Bill as NCUC Chair for organising the NCUC panel at the African<br>
Internet Governance School which took place last Wednesday to Friday<br>

The NCUC Panel session yesterday and was really well-timed in<br>
encouraging participants to come the ICANN Durban meeting - I believe<br>
about a dozen or so indicated they plan to do so. The new brochures look<br>
great and the cocktail event last night was a lot of fun and was really<br>
appreciated.<br>
Special thanks also to Avri who did a fantastic job helping plan for and<br>
deliver the event along with the other event sponsors and supporters (+<br>
Wolfgang who, along with Avri and Bill were on the faculty).<br>
