<div class="moz-cite-prefix">I agree that privacy off internet
communication is a serious concern. Who collects this
information, how is it compiled, to what purpose is it used, and
why would any of this be considered benign? There must be a
control system to insure personal privacy. Those who collect such
information most certainly intend to use it for personal advantage
and gain. The one who's privacy has been invaded has nothing to
gain. If someone is watching the chickens in the hen house from
the dark, it's probably a fox.<br>

2012, Fadi Chehadé, ICANN's President and CEO, announced
the creation of an Expert Working Group on gTLD
Directory Services (EWG) and invited volunteers to
submit applications to indicate their interest in
serving on it. The EWG is the first step in fulfilling
the ICANN Board's directive to help redefine the purpose
and provision of gTLD registration data. This project is
designed to provide a foundation for the creation of a
new global policy for gTLD directory services, and
requisite contract negotiations, as appropriate.</div>
