<div>Dear All:</div><div><br></div><div>In follow-up from yesterday's GNSO Council meeting, NCSG is able to nominate both a primary and secondary candidate to serve on the ICANN Accountability and Transparency Review Team 2. NCSG' primary endorsement should be *guaranteed* a seat on the ATRT2 team, while NCSG's secondary endorsement *may* be selected by the GNSO Council to meet its geographic and gender diversity requirements. </div><div><br></div><div>Two NCSG members have requested NCSG endorsement for their candidacy to participate on the ATRT2 team. NCSG's two candidates are <b>Avri Doria</b> and <b>Marie-Laure Lemineur</b>, both of whom would serve NCSG/ICANN well on the ATRT. One will be endorsed as primary and the other as secondary participants on the ATRT. Their candidate statements are below. NCSG-EC will make the final decision on its list, which is cc'd here along with both NCSG candidates.</div><div><br></div><div>We have a tight deadline (less than 48-hrs) to make our selections for primary/secondary endorsement, and I'd like to open this up to the membership to ask questions of the candidates and <b>also</b> for the NCSG members to state what the issues are that they would like for NCSG's representatives to take back to ATRT. </div><div><br></div><div>Therefore now have a 24-hour period to ask the two NCSG candidates questions and to provide them with initial feedback about desired outcomes for the ATRT (using this list beginning now).</div><div><br></div><div>The ATRT process is extremely important for continuing to improve ICANN's record on accountability and transparency issues, so I encourage you all to take a look and provide some feedback to the candidates at your earliest opportunity.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you,</div><div>Robin</div><div><br></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; "><a href="http://www.icann.org/en/about/aoc-review/atrt/2">ICANN Website about ATRT2</a></span></div><div><br></div><b>Avri Doria</b><div><div> * <a href="http://www.icann.org/en/about/aoc-review/applications/doria-cv-02dec12-en.pdf">Curriculum Vitae</a> [PDF, 90 KB]</div><div> * <a href="http://www.icann.org/en/about/aoc-review/applications/doria-motivation-letter-04dec12-en.pdf">Letter of Motivation</a> [PDF, 42 KB]</div><div> * <a href="http://www.icann.org/en/about/aoc-review/applications/doria-motivation-letter-04dec12-en.pdf">Statement of Interes</a>t [PDF, 78 KB]</div><div><br></div> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; "><div><div><b>Marie-Laure Lemineur </b></div><div> * <a href="http://www.icann.org/en/about/aoc-review/applications/lemineur-cv-28nov12-en.pdf">Curriculum Vitae</a> [PDF, 266 KB]</div><div> * <a href="http://www.icann.org/en/about/aoc-review/applications/lemineur-motivation-letter-19nov12-en.pdf">Letter of Motivation</a> [PDF, 55 KB]</div><div> * <a href="http://www.icann.org/en/about/aoc-review/applications/lemineur-soi-19nov12-en.pdf">Statement of Interest</a> [PDF, 619 KB]</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div></span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; "><div><br class="khtml-block-placeholder"></div><div>IP JUSTICE</div><div>Robin Gross, Executive Director</div><div>1192 Haight Street, San Francisco, CA 94117 USA</div><div>p: +1-415-553-6261 f: +1-415-462-6451</div><div>w: <a href="http://www.ipjustice.org">http://www.ipjustice.org</a> e: <a href="mailto:robin@ipjustice.org">robin@ipjustice.org</a></div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"></span><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"> </div><br></div></body></html>
