Agreed, take Syria for example. The government would call the
citizens a terrorist group. The citizens consider the government a
terrorist group. And even in situations where true terrorists exist,
why would ICANN be part of the solution to terrorism.<br>
<br>
Personally I am far more concerned with abuse by governments using
terrorism as an excuse to do an end run around lawful restriction on
police and spy agencies.<br>
<br>
We all know what happens here in the United States where the
government hides behind state secrets and other security claims to
deny citizens legal redress in cases where companies like AT&T
illegally spied on citizens without a warrant.<br>
