Hi

There could be some interesting synergy possibilities between the IGF and the ICANNsphere this time, e.g. with the new gTLD & JAS issues taken up in the main sessions, the Katim-instigated initiatve on ICANN & developing countries percolating pre-Dakar, etc. Maybe something could be done along the lines of the outreach event Alex organized for the Nairobi ICANN, albeit on a smaller scale, and/or drawing on the SF workshop format…?

I'll be there from Friday 23 Sept. Meetings (GigaNet, APC, ISOC, the ministerial) start Monday 26th, IGF from the 27th. If anyone else will be around Sat-Sun 24-25 and interested in making something happen, I'd be happy to join the effort.

Best

Bill
