Hi

NomCom will hold a public meeting at ICANN55 in the Toubkal room, 10:45 – 12:00 WET https://meetings.icann.org/en/marrakech55/schedule/wed-nomcom <https://meetings.icann.org/en/marrakech55/schedule/wed-nomcom>. It’d be great to have some NCUC participants, both F2F and remote, to raise any issues they may have in mind about how the NomCom process operates, the currently open positions (applications due 20 March) and qualifications/disqualifications for these, etc. Below is a message the NC chair sent to the registries, as background.

Cheers

Bill

> For the last couple of years, the NomCom has pushed ICANN meeting staff to have a public meeting in a room that isn't hidden away and hard to find.

> I'm happy to report that for this meeting, we've finally been successful.

> I can therefore only encourage anyone that is interested in the NomCom process, or in applying, to attend. We will present a quick overview of the NomCom process then have a public discussion to determine the type of questions we should be asking Board applicants when we interview them face to face at our selection meeting.

> This is a unique opportunity not only to witness the NomCom process, but also to participate in it.
