Hi Gaby

It's really cool to hear about your experience with academic engagement on
IG.
Let's keep talking about this and I share a few experiences on the area

Some researchers and students from Brazil started a networking group a
while ago, we've exchanged some articles and one of them became a master's
degree research project. Now we have a North-Northeastern Brazilian Group
on Telegram too (message me if you want the addresses). Also, planning an
optional course for undergrads (any recommendations on this, welcome).

After a few visits to associations of academics and Latin American
communities in IG I've got some information about this but I still need a
lot to go on in order to build these projects. I am a professor in an
university but we're also in between academia and activism since partner
organizations and the main focus of research is towards sustainable
development and internet. Main organizations I found info about
research/courses were Giganet, AoIR, IAMCR, Meccsa, ECREA so far. 3 last
mostly media studies though.

It would be great to get to know more from ASEP-IT. You've taught me so
much at ICANN53, and here I am asking stuff again :D
