EBERO RFI Q&A Published

29 November 2011

On 16 November 2011, ICANN held a teleconference with potential respondents to the Emergency Back-End Registry Operator Request for Information (EBERO RFI). Potential respondents submitted questions to ICANN. Here are the questions and answers<http://www.icann.org/en/documents/rfps/ebero-rfi-qanda-29nov11-en.pdf> [PDF, 411 KB] that may help all the respondents to better prepare the RFIs.

The EBERO is designed to be activated should a registry operator require assistance to sustain critical registry functions for a period of time, or in the case of transition for one registry operator to another. ICANN is looking forward to receiving comprehensive information from the potential EBERO candidates. The RFI deadline has been extended to 5 December 2011 - 5:00PM Pacific Time. Please direct your information to ebero at icann.org<mailto:ebero at icann.org>. Responses after the deadline will not be considered.

For additional information regarding the RFI, please see: http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-2-14sep11-en.htm
