We also like the idea of prices being reasonable and indeed
falling, and we want a reliable operator.
---

1. Have you developed your own financial models in order to be able
to compare to what is eventually sold to you ?

2. Have you considered how simple a registry is with modern database
technology and also the new changes that make it much easier to
wire the database to the DNS servers ?

3. Given #2, do you think that most .ORG owners are capable of
interfacing directly with the "Registry" via a web to database to DNS
interface ?...or do you think there has to be a layer of brokers
(i.e. Registrars) to remove you from the direct interface and also to
allow fees (taxes?) to be collected as transactions go between you
and the Registrar and the Registry ?

4. You say "reliable operator", have you considered that the system
can be more reliable with several companies each maintaining a copy
of the needed servers that stay in sync 24x7 processing the transactions
that are required to make changes to the existing database ?

5. Can you summarize all of the parties that you said want to big on
.ORG and provide your choice or choices ?...which may include the
option of having all 4 parties cooperate to build the .ORG Registry.
[As an aside, the original InterNIC was 3 companies supposedly
cooperating on the NSF agreement. AT&T, NSI, and General Atomics
AT&T was large absent, and GA was removed. At the start NSI
said they wanted to do the entire job alone to save everyone money.]

6. Do you expect ICANN and all of the parties bidding to provide a
full financial disclosure of who is involved ?...including any financial
ties to ICANN Board members and/or ICANN staff or their families ?

7. Do you think that all bidders as well as the ICANN Board and staff
should provide full disclosure of their age, race, religion and sexual
preferences ? Because .ORG is sometimes short for .ORGY, the last
category may have more weight.
