<p>I believe this presents a valuable opportunity for NCUC Africa to do more than provide event updates, and instead use the session as a space to sharpen our regional priorities and strengthen coordination across the community.</p>
<p><br></p>
<p>A useful approach may be to frame the webinar around the key implications emerging from recent internet governance engagements: what these developments mean for African non-commercial users, where there are opportunities for stronger regional advocacy, and how we can position ourselves more strategically in upcoming policy and governance processes.</p>
<p><br></p>
<p>In addition to updates, it may be worthwhile to include a forward-looking discussion on actionable next steps for the region — particularly around issues such as digital inclusion, rights-based internet governance, meaningful participation in ICANN processes, and the visibility of African perspectives in global policy conversations.</p>
<p><br></p>
<p>This could also serve as an opportunity to identify areas where NCUC Africa can take a more coordinated leadership role, whether through thematic working groups, community statements, or increased participation in forthcoming engagements.</p>
<p><br></p>
<p>I would be glad to support the shaping of the agenda and help contribute to ensuring the discussion is outcome-driven and strategically aligned with our regional priorities.</p>
